Experiences
Principal activities focus on safety, quality and environmental management system development and auditing, hazard inspections and audits, incident reviews/investigations, risk assessments, risk management plans, safety management plans (all industries), safe work method statements (SWMS's), training (induction and professional development for staff and management groups), improvement notice and prohibition notice resolutions, marketing, mediation and the provision of general OHS, risk management, integrated management systems, environmental and quality systems advice. Developed numerous safety management systems (including Quality and Environmental) and assisted clients with third party certification (certificates available on request) to AS 4801, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001 and ISO/AS 9001 - 2008, up to and including OFSC (Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner) accreditation.

Gained exposure in many different industries – ranging in scope from small retail businesses to larger national companies, requiring knowledge of the various state jurisdictions and how small regulatory changes have an operational and strategic impact on businesses. Adaptable to suit the individual drivers for each sector. Service, manufacturing industries are driven more by “value adding” and cost neutral OH&S strategies, whereas construction and government organisations are primarily focused on regulatory compliance where financial efficiencies are an added bonus. Clients include several construction companies such as FK Gardener, Grindley Constructions, WDS Limited and MP Constructions.

Most work has revolved around the manufacturing, services, transport, government (and semi-government), LNG and construction arenas. Although a significant amount of work is aimed at operational level design and development of policies, procedures and strategies, assistance at the strategic management level by coordinating enterprise wide risk profiling, OH&S management plans, business continuity plans, critical incident and disaster recovery plans is also provided. Adept at influencing senior management teams through training, coaching and business case development.
