Veolia Environmental Services /Collex Waste Management
> Developed and implemented a contractor management system including pre-qualification, assessment, review, induction and site
permit/supervision processes.
> Secured ISO 9001:2000 Quality management Systems and AS/NZS 4801 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification for all VES business units and activities throughout Australia. This certification covered over 100 separate sites and depots.
> Led a national project team for the development of an integrated
management system for VES Australia/ New Zealand encompassing general legal compliance, health, safety, environmental, human resources and risk management including the development of documented policies and procedures.
> Designed, developed and implemented an online Incident Management System for VES covering Injury Management, Environmental Reporting, Motor Vehicle Accident Management, Hazard and Near Miss Reporting and Customer/Employee feedback and complaint.
> Developed and implemented a corporate Safety Management System for 13 sites across NSW which achieved self-insurer's status in under 18 months. This status saved the organisation approximately $2 million in the first year.
